Dr. Tamara Walkingstick

Dr. Tamara Walkingstick is the Associate Director and Associate Professor with the Arkansas Forest Resources Center. She has worked for the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture, Co-operative Extension Service since 1996.  She serves on several boards including the Arkansas American Indian Center, Arkansas Women in Agriculture, the National Network of Forest Practitioners and is a member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma.  She will discuss the role that native plants and trees can play in our yards and gardens.  Tamara will be referring to the popular book by Doug Tallamy, Bringing Nature Home.
